Celebrate Community Family Day in downtown Pleasanton on Saturday | New

Its members honor those in service with yellow banners along Main Street, and coordinate and partner with other groups to organize memorable homecomings for soldiers. They also send care packages three times a year to those who serve to ensure that those who are estranged from their families and communities continue to feel loved and valued.

“This organization does so much for the Tri-Valley military community. They are a shoulder to cry on, a listening ear and a friend to celebrate with for so many families whose loved ones serve overseas,” Schaefer said. .

“We feel very fortunate to be part of a community with so many amazing organizations working to enrich the lives of Pleasanton and Tri-Valley residents. It is an honor to be able to partner and help spotlight one of these great organizations each year through our Celebrate Family Community Day,” she added.

Past Celebrate Community partners with the Museum of Main include Cheza Nami Foundation, Pleasanton-Tulancingo Sister City Association, Alviso Adobe Community Park, and Korean Parent Association.
