Nawab Indian Cuisine celebrates 25 years in downtown Roanoke

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) – Nawab Indian Cuisine is hosting a celebration Tuesday honoring 25 years in downtown Roanoke.

The City of Roanoke Department of Economic Development told WFXR News that Nawab will host a 25th anniversary celebration on Tuesday, July 26 at 6 p.m.

The celebration will include the grand opening and will take place at the restaurant located at 118 Campbell Avenue SE.

Authorities say several state and local government officials will attend, including Roanoke City Mayor Sherman Lea and City Manager Bob Cowell.

Since its opening in May 1997, the Indian cuisine restaurant has served the community and represented India with the finest styles, spice blends, produce and proteins. City officials say Nawab’s menu represents several regions of India and their food is presented with a variety of cooking techniques.

For full restaurant hours or to order online, you can visit the Nawab Indian Cuisine website.

Interview opportunities will be available after the inauguration. Any questions can be directed to Mr. Sunny Shah at (540)-537-0618.
