The Wellington CO Main Street program hosts the very first Cleveland Crawl on Saturday, January 22 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in downtown Wellington.

The Cleveland Crawl draws the community outside to support local downtown businesses during the low season after the holidays. Each business will use their outdoor spaces and organize fun, winter-themed activities for the enjoyment of the entire Wellington community. This winter-themed event is the perfect way to let go of those post-vacation blues. So dress in your best cold weather gear and enjoy activities like ‘golf on snow’ and a hot chocolate station hosted by your favorite downtown businesses.

Thirteen downtown businesses are participating:

  • Trim Salon and Waxi Taxi take “photos with Elsa”.
  • Old Colorado Brewing Company runs an obstacle course.
  • The Cakery is “cookie decoration”,
  • Wellington Grill hosts ‘Snow Golf’.
  • Rust Vintage Market is doing “a Snowy Short shorts shootout.”
  • Soul Squared hosts “Hammer log”.
  • Pizza Palace does “Pin Pepperoni on Frozen Pizza”.
  • Integrity assurance is organizing a “snowball”.
  • Owl Canyon Coffee makes a hot cocoa station.
  • Polished Spa is “Ice Princess Makeover and Wonderland Shopping”.
  • Thistle is doing a photo booth.
  • The Wellington Region Chamber of Commerce welcomes Slurpz Food Truck.
  • The city of Wellington, remains to be announced.

Tickets are $ 25 and include a fun interactive map of all the activities, a #ShopWellington bag, and a “Cleveland Crawl” commemorative beanie. Children 12 and under are free, but if they want a beanie it costs $ 15 more.

The Cleveland Crawl is organized by the Wellington Main Street Program Promotion Committee. This committee is responsible for promoting downtown Wellington through educational and community events and showcasing the unique characteristics of the community.
